Keeping Our Guests Safe
As we open from 17th May, we will be keeping up to date with the latest government guidelines. Our aim now is to keep both ourselves and our guests as safe as possible. It is important, therfore, that you and your party follow any requests that we make relating to your own and our other guest's wellbeing.
Our returning regular guests will notice changes in the way we operate. There will be hand sanitizer at the entrance for guests to use on arrival and departure as well as in the dining room for use prior to breakfast and increased ventilation througout.
We will be restricting the number of guests in the dining room at any one time so we will ask you to select an 8am or 9am sitting in advance for coming down to breakfast.
We would ask guests to bring their own face masks to use whilst in the common areas such as reception, stairway and guest lounge / breakfast room. We will be wearing face visors at all times when coming into contact with guests.
There will also be changes that will not be so obvious to see such as enhanced cleaning practices, regularly sanitizing all touch points in the rooms such as door handles, keys, remote controls, kettles, light switches, table surfaces, all bathroom fittings and fixtures and common areas.
We are taking the usual booking deposit. However, this will be returned without delay should you need to cancel as a result of the imposition of government travel or movement restictions, any one of your party being unable to travel as a result of Covid related illness or failing of a Covid test or if we are forced to cancel your booking as a result of an outbreak at Scar Close Farmhouse. Please see the Covid-19 section of our updated Terms and Conditions
for more information.
